Our business was established in 1981 as D&S Cone Yarn Supplies by David and Sandra Benson and soon became the largest supplier of knitting machines in the South West.

Our monthly knitting courses were a great success thanks to our daughters hard work. For Many years the business sold several makes and models of knitting machines as well as accessories ad all types of acrylic yards and wools.

Soon after the courses were started D&S Cone Yarn Supplies started stocking Pfaff Sewing Machines and a short time later changed its name to
D & S sewing Machines taking on extra manufacturers Including Brother, Frister+Rossmann, Toyota, Necci and Silver. The well stocked shop is in Newton Abbott in Devon now stocks not only sewing machines but also Overlockers, Pure Cotton Fabrics,Wadding, Embroidery and Sewing Threads and a vast array of haberdashery items and Accessories.
